Yes, I'd feel like a jackass if I'd spent all night looking in ditches and fields for the body of Jennifer Wilbanks, only to learn later that she's turned up very-much alive, and had suffered a case of the nervous-nillies about her impending wedding, but cut the woman some slack...
Prosecuting her is pointless, and will only cost taxpayers more money - as if enough resources haven't already been wasted on this sorry affair.
Leave Jennifer Wilbanks alone to suffer the shame and regret she undoubtedly will experience for many years to come... Isn't being the biggest dumbass ever to enjoy 15-minutes of fame punishment enough?
