BC Missing Women / Pickton
Interest idea for Montreal artist Zoe Pawlak to give these women back their individuality by painting solo portraits:
With the first-degree murder trial of Robert Pickton set to open soon, three B.C. artists memorialize the missing women as individuals
But the Globe and Mail's gaffe of saving this thumb of Betty Kovacic's painting under the file name "0111Pickton" sort of undermines the intent of the project:
"0111 Pickton"
