Scholarship Update - Big Money

Ok, admittedly I put a lot of crap up there on that last Ebay round. None of it sold (ok, some of it sold... the tarot cards (thanks again Sandy!))

Here's the good news, an old family friend came thru with a big donation, and many of you came thru with a bunch of little donations, which is much appreciated.  We have now topped $5,000!

Yeah!!!!!
To be precise we're at $5,300, that's enough to perpetually provide a $250 scholarship, but I'm a little more ambitious than that, and I think Theresa is worth more than a $250 scholarship. Forgoing for a moment the original goal of $20,000, can we at least try to reach $10,000 by the new year?

If you haven't yet donated to Theresa's scholarship endowment please consider a gift this Thanks Giving. If you've contributed, then give again! There are three simple ways to do so.

1.  The easiest is to simply click on the "Donate" button on the upper-right of your screen. This will take you to a Paypal screen where you can pay by credit card.

2.   Benefactors from Canada may contact:

Foundation Champlain-Lennoxville Inc.
Theresa Allore Memorial Fund
c/o Marielle Denis, Treasurer
P.O. 5003 (Champlain Lennoxville Campus)
Sherbrooke, Québec, J1M 2A1

Tel: (819) 564-3600 ext. 638

3.   Benefactors from the United States may contact:

Triangle Community Foundation
Theresa Allore Memorial Fund
c/o Fred Stang, Director of Development
324 Blackwell Street, Suite 1220
Durham, NC, 27701

Tel: 919-474-8370

With U.S. donations you may also take advantage of donating online using a credit card. Go to the following website and highlight the Theresa Allore Memorial Fund from the drop down menu:

I don't think any of this stuff is crap, John.
This is all stuff that belonged to Theresa. She was a special person.
But you don't need me to tell you that.
